Patrick Jagoda is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Chicago. He is also a coeditor of Critical Inquiry. He specializes in new media studies, digital game theory and design, and post-1945 American literature. His scholarship concerns “network aesthetics.” Jagoda has also worked on several projects related to digital storytelling, transmedia game design, and new media learning. He has co-directed several Alternate Reality Games, including Oscillation (2011), Speculation (2012), and The Project (2013). With Melissa Gilliam, he is the founder of the Game Changer Chicago Design Lab.
