Rob Wittig teaches in the Departments of Art and Design and Writing Studies at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. In the early 1980s he co-founded the group Invisible Seattle’s legendary IN.S.OMNIA electronic bulletin board. In 1989 he received a Fulbright grant to study electronic literature with Jacques Derrida and Jean-François Lyotard. While writing pioneering web fictions and electronic literature theory, Rob worked for 15 years in major graphic design firms in Chicago. He is currently developing collaborative fiction in a transmedia form called netprov, networked improv narrative.
