MetaBook.1: The Book of Luna

MetaBook is a transmedia concept that bridges the analog and the digital by introducing an interactive, cinematic dimension to the physical object of the book. These embellished volumes are technological film-poems played in a cinema of pages; illuminated manuscripts combining text and objects with embedded screens, pico-projectors, speakers, processors, and physical computing components. The pages of the book are segments of a literary cinesculpture that can be navigated, read, or watched. Meta-Book.1: The Book of Luna, explores the Moon’s philosophers by navigating the craters that have been named after them.
