Tarim Tapestries

Some fantasies seek to render imaginary places real. Tarim Tapestry takes the fragments of a real place and transforms them into referents of imaginary ones. Tarim Tapestry is a collection of actual and invented stories and texts from the Tarim Basin of East Central Asia. The assemblage includes sections of short fiction and poetry such The Beauty of Loulan, Tocharian Love Song, and The Witches of Subeshi.
