Mimi Cabell was born in Nanaimo, B.C., Canada. She works with language, video, photography, and sound; her main areas of research are identity and representation. She completed her second MFA in Electronic Writing at Brown University in May 2013, and will be teaching at the Rhode Island School of Design in the fall of 2013. A collaborative work, American Psycho, was published by Traumawien in 2012. Her work has been shown in Paris, New York, Toronto, and London, and will next be seen at E-Poetry in London in June 2013.
