Chris Funkhouser is Professor and Director of the Communication and Media program in the Department of Humanities at New Jersey Institute of Technology. In addition to authoring Prehistoric Digital Poetry: An Archeology of Forms, 1959-1995 (2007), New Directions in Digital Poetry (2012) and other books, Funkhouser is a multimedia artist and musician. He has produced poetry-related recordings since the 1980s, and is a Senior Editor at PennSound. His CD-ROM e-book, Selections 2.0, was published by Multimedia University (Malaysia), where he was a Visiting Fulbright Scholar in 2006.
